Coventry City loanee Andre Wright was in the thick of a fan protest as Sky Blues fans invaded the pitch in their side's 2-1 loss at home to Sheffield United. Wright played 74 minutes as Billy Sharp struck three minutes from time to condemn City to a sixth straight defeat in Sky Bet League One.
It was a happier afternoon for Tyler Roberts who played ten minutes of Oxford United's 3-2 win at Bury. The youngster's side are now just five points off the League One playoffs.
But there was defeat for Tahvon Campbell and Yeovil Town at the hands of Carlisle United in League Two. The Baggies striker played 64 minutes in a 2-1 defeat.
Ethan Ross played another 90 minutes for Worcester City as they picked up 1-1 draw on the road at Gainsborough Trinity in the National League North.
Sebastien Pocognoli and Joe Ward, meanwhile, were unused substitutes for Brighton and Torquay respectively.
