Rekeem Harper on target in 1-1 draw
ALBION’s Under-18 side earned an impressive opening day point against last season’s champions Manchester City on Saturday morning.
Rekeem Harper fired the Baggies into the lead with a strike from inside the penalty area just four minutes in after some neat link-up with Marcus Forss on the edge of the box.
City grabbed an equaliser in the 24th minute and both sides had chances to go on and win the game but there were to be no further goals.
The youngsters will look to build on the encouraging draw when they host Newcastle United next Saturday.
