Fans’ Champions - we want your nominations

Your chance to nominate Baggies devotees

ALBION supporters, do you know someone who deserves to be recognised as a true Fans' Champion? If so, we want to hear from you...

The Club last week announced a new fans' initiative which provides the chance to add an unforgettable memory to matchdays at The Hawthorns.

Last Saturday's opening home Premier League game of the 2016/17 saw Blind Dave Heeley recognised by the Club as the first Fans’ Champion - and he was duly given the honour of signalling the countdown to kick-off by stepping on to our hallowed turf and delivering the matchball to the plinth.

The fundraiser extraordinaire has clocked up thousands of miles and thousands of pounds for charities with his extraordinary deeds of endurance.

Now we want to hear from you if you think there is someone you feel deserves the honour.

Perhaps it is a friend or a family member who has shown incredible devotion to the cause? Perhaps it is a supporter who, like Blind Dave, combines passion for the Baggies with a big heart for their community?

Tell us who you believe should be our Fans’ Champion and enjoy the honour of delivering the matchball to the plinth before each home game.

Send your nomination to The Albion Foundation, Ford Street, Smethwick B67 7QY or email
