Cup tickets offer for PSV cancellation

Free EFL Cup & FA Cup tickets for fans

ALBION have offered free Cup tickets to their supporters who had planned to travel to watch the pre-season FOX Sports Cup game against PSV Eindhoven in Arnhem.

That match was cancelled by civic authorities in Arnhem after police intelligence reports warned of disturbances from known trouble-makers travelling within the Eindhoven supporter groups.

It left Albion without a fixture and forced to bring their trip to an abrupt close while nearly 200 Baggies fans were left out of pocket.

The Club continue to press tournament organisers Event IQ for recompense on the fans' behalf.

But Albion are now able to confirm a range of goodwill gestures:

* We will reimburse supporters the cost of tickets for the PSV Eindhoven fixture which were purchased directly from the ticket office. This can be done by applying in writing, by phone or in person to the Ticket Office.

* PSV ticket purchasers – whether or not bought from the Ticket Office - can claim a complimentary match ticket to our first EFL (formerly Capital One) Cup Match this season and our first FA Cup tie.

* Where either or both of these matches are away, the Club will also provide complimentary travel on the official Baggies Travel service.

Again, please contact the Ticket Office by phone, email or in person to claim your tickets.

Chief Executive Mark Jenkins said: "Events at that tournament were beyond our control and we were as disappointed as all our fans about the cancellation of the game.

"We hope that these goodwill gestures will help ease the disappointments of that weekend."
