Squad named for tonight's game at Blackburn
YOUNG trio Jonathan Leko, Sam Field and Tyler Roberts will be back on Under-21 duty as James Shan's youngsters prepare for their crunch game at Blackburn Rovers.
Leko made his second Barclays Premier League appearance in Saturday's game at Manchester City, while Field and Roberts also travelled to the Etihad with Tony Pulis' first-team squad.
Tonight they will be part of an Under-21s squad who have two matches left to secure a spot in the Barclays U21 Premier League Division Two play-offs, starting with this clash at Ewood Park (ko 7pm).
The Baggies, who sit seventh on 30 points from 20 games, need to finish inside the top five to qualify for the play-offs.
West Ham occupy the final play-off position with 32 points to their name but they have played one game more, while Stoke, in sixth, have played all 22 league matches.
Monday night’s fixture is as equally important for the hosts who have also acquired 30 points from 20 games – only an inferior goal difference keeps them below Albion in the table.
