Pulis has no complaints at result

Baggies head coach admits Arsenal better side

TONY Pulis reflected on Albion's defeat at Arsenal by admitting: "We can have no complaints."

The Baggies were seen off by two first-half strikes by Alexis Sanchez.

Albion's best chance of the game fell to Gareth McAuley, who struck the bar during the first-half.

After the game, Pulis said:
I can have no complaints about the result. Arsenal were the better side throughout the game.
And I'm not going to criticise the players either - they've done very well for me this season.
We've played well at times this season but today we looked leggy, off the pace.
And when we come to the better teams everyone has to be on it and we simply weren't.

Unusually, the game was played on a Thursday, due to TV commitments. Pulis felt that perhaps he could have done things differently.
If McAuley's effort had gone in early on...it becomes one each.
But we have to give credit to Arsenal.
They were the better side. And maybe preparation for the game is something I need to look at.
I've managed games before in Europe on a Thursday but today was the first domestically.
Maybe I need to look at myself and our preparation in that respect.
Perhaps we could have done things differently.
