The striker came off the bench in the goalless draw at Southampton before starting away at Swansea prior to the international break.
Summer signings Sebastian Blanco, Georgios Samaras and Cristian Gamboa are among the subsititutes.
Stephane Sessegnon is unavailable for selection having sustained an eye injury during training this week.
