Important train travel information for Arsenal trip

Line into London Euston closed over Bank Holiday weekend

FANS travelling by train to Sunday’s game at Arsenal (ko 1.30pm) are being warned the line into and out of London Euston will be closed completely from Saturday, May 3 to Monday 5.

This is the first of a series of closures as part of Network Rail’s £81m Watford Area Renewals Project, which will see the replacement of 12 miles of rail track, signalling equipment and overhead power lines in the Watford area.

There will be no trains operating south of Hemel Hempstead on these days.

London Midland has arranged for its tickets to be valid with the following train operators; Chiltern Railways, First Capital Connect, East Midlands Trains, London Overground and certain London Underground routes.

If passengers are unable to reach their destination with another train operator, they can use the rail-replacement road transport that London Midland has arranged.
