Albion Colts May open trials

Chance for players from Under-12s to Under-14s to impress

ALBION are staging boys’ open trials from Under-12s to Under-14s level during Whitsun half-term week for their pioneering Colts programme after seeing it produce more than ten Academy players last season.

The Baggies are looking for skilful, quick and intelligent players who are confident and brave.

To be eligible for these trials you must be playing at a very good standard now or have had a trial at any professional club during the season.

The Colts programme also last term produced more than ten players signed by other local professional academies.

Albion’s Head of Academy Recruitment Steve Hopcroft said: “The Colts programme has proved extremely successful.

“There are currently more than 35 Colts associated with our Academy and it is, without doubt, the best route to getting signed as a schoolboy player.”
Under-12s players must currently be in year 7 at school
Under-13s players must currently be in year 8 at school
Under-14s players must currently be in year 9 at school

If you are eligible and wish to register for these trials you need to call the staff listed below to confirm your place. Timings for the event will be issued on registration.

The trials will take place at the new state of the art 4G pitch on Halfords Lane, West Bromwich, B71 4LF and these trials are free of charge if you meet the criteria.

Be sure to book your place as there is limited availability.
