To get things going right now, we are asking whether you would rather face Villa at home or away in the first big West Midlands derby of the season?

To get you in the mood, here we look back at the three most memorable encounters with Villa in the Premier League era.

April 2005
Darius Vassell headed the hosts into a first-half lead from close range before Liam Ridgewell and Jonathan Greening were sent off.

With Albion seemingly staring at derby defeat, Paul Robinson popped up with a dramatic and memorable last-gasp header to snatch a share of the spoils as Bryan Robson’s side then went on to secure the Great Escape.

April 2011
Abdoulaye Meite’s early own goal put Albion on the back foot at The Hawthorns but Peter Odemwingie levelled on the hour mark for the hosts before Paul Scharner soon saw red.

And just as it looked as though honours would end even, Youssouf Mulumbu converted an 84th-minute winner to secure Albion’s first home victory over Villa since 1985.

October 2011
The Baggies went into clash winless at Villa Park in the league since 1979 but Scharner changed all that.

Darren Bent’s penalty put the home side into the lead before Chris Herd was dismissed, and Roy Hodgson’s outfit took full advantage as Jonas Olsson levelled just before the break and Scharner converted a second-half winner.
