Daniels and Nabi goals see Baggies come from behind to draw
DONERVORN Daniels and Samir Nabi goals saw an Albion XI come from two goals down at half-time to draw 2-2 in tonight’s pre-season friendly at Nuneaton Town.
Ben Hutchinson put the Skrill Premier hosts ahead on 16 and Jordan Robertson doubled the lead seven minutes before the break.
Daniels (pictured) pulled a goal back for the visitors in the 66th minute as he headed home Kemar Roofe’s free-kick from 15 yards.
And two minutes later Ryan Pace teed up Nabi, who picked out the bottom corner of the net with a whipped, 20-yard finish.
Baggies Senior Professional Development Coach James Shan said: “Nuneaton were very direct and in the first half we found it difficult to cope with that and they got in and around us to score two very similar goals.
“I spoke to the boys at half-time about ways to deal with it better by pressing Town at the source of their play.
“We did that well in the second half, it was a good reaction, and we scored two good goals; the second was excellent and came after a long spell of possession.”
