Midfielder heads to iPro Stadium in permanent deal
ALBION have today sold George Thorne to Derby County for an undisclosed fee.
The 21-year-old midfielder made 17 appearances for the Baggies and joins the Rams following a 12-game loan spell at Pride Park last season.
Technical director Terry Burton said: “George has made two transfer requests since returning for pre-season training and has decided his future lies away from the club.
“Derby have now met our valuation for the player and given the circumstances we have agreed to the transfer.”
