Nabi gets Baggies back to winning ways

ALBION bounced back from two successive defeats in the Barclays Under-21 Premier League thanks to Samir Nabi’s second-half winner at Carrow Road.

The Baggies missed a great chance to get their noses in front on the stroke of half-time when Alex Jones put a penalty he had won after being fouled by Adel Gafaiti over the bar.

But the forward made amends in the 61st minute when he laid off a one-two with goalscorer Nabi, who slotted past Canaries keeper Remi Matthews.

Senior professional development coach David Oldfield said: "The players were good tonight.

"They played well and deserved to beat a good Norwich side.

"The boys passed it well, competed well and worked hard."
