Mel holds talks with Sinclair

Baggies boss explains his thoughts on winger

PEPE Mel has revealed he has held one-to-one talks with Scott Sinclair – and insists the winger remains part of his plans.

The on-loan Manchester City man has featured only once - as a half-time substitute at Crystal Palace - in the new Baggies boss’ six games in charge.

And he has explained the thinking behind leaving one of his flair players on the bench in Saturday’s 1-1 draw with Fulham.

“On Friday Scott Sinclair spoke with me,” said Mel.

“I told him he is a good player, a good winger.

“At the moment West Brom need hard work on the pitch.

“But I assured Scott Sinclair he will play in the future.

“It is normal he is disappointed he is not playing.

“But I can only pick 11 and it is difficult every day.”
