Foster wants Albion to kick on after Hull draw

‘Keeper happy to draw line under run of defeats

BEN Foster insists that the point gained at Hull on Saturday will help ignite Albion’s season.

The England ‘keeper claimed his fifth clean sheet of the campaign at the KC Stadium, as The Baggies halted a run of four defeats in a row.

Alan Irvine’s men now head into a busy festive period, with games against Villa, QPR, Manchester City and Stoke all to come before the end of 2014.

And Foster admits that Christmas will be vital for his side, who in that time will be keen to climb up the Barclays Premier League table.

“We will take confidence from our battling performance and the clean sheet at Hull,” said Albion’s No.1.

“Coming off the back of four straight defeats we needed to draw a line under it all and we did that.

“It is a fresh start from here, almost as if the season begins now.

“Villa at home next week is a massive game, and QPR away the following weekend is also really important for us.

“We have a massive Christmas coming up.”
