Baggies defender off to Brazil
DIEGO Lugano is World Cup bound after last night captaining Uruguay to a goalless draw with Jordan in their play-off second leg in Montevideo.
The South Americans booked their place in Brazil courtesy of their 5-0 victory in the first leg, with the Baggies defender playing 90 minutes in both games.
Uruguay are the last of the 32 teams to qualify for next summer’s finals and will be seeded in the draw on December 6.
