United programme reprint update

Copies remain on sale - only online

REPRINTS of Albion’s ‘special edition’ matchday programme have now arrived at The Hawthorns and will be mailed to fans who have pre-ordered in the coming days.

The only way supporters can now order a copy is online (click here).

At 144 pages – 60 more than this term’s previous editions – it is the biggest programme ever produced by a club for a domestic fixture in England.

The final ‘Albion News’ of the 2012/13 campaign features extra  club-related content and, of course, a Baggies-biased tribute to Sir Alex Ferguson, as he takes charge of his 1,500th, and final, game as United manager.

The programme is priced £4 and supporters can order now, at the Stadium Megastore, online at www.wbashop.co.uk.

For the final game of Sir Alex’s 26-year tenure as United boss, we’ve asked the likes of England manager Roy Hodgson, ‘Captain Marvel’ Bryan Robson and former United players Michael Appleton and Ben Foster to share their thoughts on the Scot’s unrivalled career.

Our award-winning programme also includes an extensive season review, featuring exclusive interviews with Steve Clarke, Gareth McAuley and Jonas Olsson.

Club skipper Chris Brunt pens his final column of the term, as does Tony ‘Bomber’ Brown, who picks his team of the season.

Speaking of Bomber, we look back at the greatest of his 279 goals and there is also a cautionary tale about ignoring the lessons of history.

We monitor the progress of Academy starlet ‘Izzy’ Brown and include an extended, thought-provoking interview with former Throstle Jason Roberts.

The visitors are studied at length and we look back at a couple of thumping Baggies triumphs over the Red Devils – from the days when if they scored three, we scored more.
