Albion have three other internationals on duty
BEN Foster and Shane Long are set to go head to head when England host the Republic of Ireland in a friendly at Wembley on Wednesday (ko 8pm).The season is also not over for another three of Albion’s Barclays Premier League stars.
James Morrison, Jonas Olsson and Youssouf Mulumbu have been called up for international duty.
Foster also faces a trip to Rio de Janeiro to take on Brazil on Sunday, June 2 (ko 8pm BST), while Long’s Ireland host Georgia in Dublin on the same day.
The Republic also face a World Cup qualifier against the Faroe Islands, at the Aviva Stadium, five days later before travelling to New York to take on World and European Champions Spain on Tuesday, June 11.
Morrison is part of Scotland’s squad for their World Cup qualifier against Croatia in Zagreb on Friday, June 7.
Olsson is set for duty with Sweden as they entertain Macedonia in a friendly, in Malmo, before a World Cup qualification double against Austria in Vienna on June 7 and the Faroe Islands in Solna four days later.
Mulumbu’s DR Congo visit Saint-Cyr-Sur-Mer to take on Guinea in a friendly on Saturday, June 1 before two World Cup qualifiers against Libya in Tripoli on June 7 and Cameroon in Kinshasa nine days later.
