Baggies search on for U12s, U13s & U14s stoppers
ALBION will be holding goalkeeper trials for three of the club’s Academy age groups on Monday, April 8.
The Baggies are looking to recruit stoppers for their Under-12s, Under-13s and Under-14s (see below for full details on age categories) sides during a training session at the club’s new 4G pitch off Halfords Lane – 150 metres from The Hawthorns stadium.
Trialists will be put through their paces by Academy coaches Mark Naylor and Jack Stern, before a question-and-answer session with the Baggies’ current crop of young custodians.
Attendees will also benefit from DVD analysis of their performance during the trial.
A one-off registration fee of £20 will be charged on the day of the trial and players who are invited to attend further sessions will do so free of charge.

This is your chance to earn a full Baggies Academy trial but you must fulfil the following requirements:
-You must have played in goal for three or more seasons
-You must play for a team entered in a competitive league
-You must have been born in Britain or hold an EU passport
-You must live within 70 miles of Birmingham
-You must meet the height requirements laid out below for your age group
-U12 minimum height 158cm/62in
-U13 minimum height 164cm/65in
-U14 minimum height 170cm/67in
Height restrictions will be adhered to stringently and players will be measured on arrival.
-U12s players born between September 1, 2000 and August 31, 2001
-U13s players born between September 1, 1999 and August 31, 2000
-U14s players born between September 1, 1998 and August 31, 1999
