Midfielder to spend season at St. Andrew's
SCOTT Allan has today joined Championship outfit Blues on a season-long loan.
The central midfielder, who signed for Albion from Dundee United in January 2012, joins Lee Clark’s outfit ahead of tomorrow’s pre-season friendly at Oxford.
The 21-year-old gained first-team experience during loan spells at Portsmouth and MK Dons following his move south of the border but has been unable to break into the Baggies’ starting line-up.
Albion Sporting & Technical Director (Designate), Richard Garlick, said: “Competition for places in our midfield is fierce and Scott has found first-team chances extremely limited.
“At this stage of his career, he needs regular football to aid his development and we wish him all the best at Birmingham.”
