Clarke makes two changes to his starting XI

YOUSSOUF Mulumbu makes his first Barclays Premier League appearance since New Year’s Day as Steve Clarke makes two changes to the team that lost 1-0 to Tottenham eight days ago.

The DR Congo international has recovered from the knee problem he battled with during the African Cup of Nations.

The man to make way is Romelu Lukaku, who is among the substitutes.

Liam Ridgewell comes in at left-back in place of the suspended Goran Popov, who serves the first of his three-game ban.

Peter Odemwingie is not involved.

Brendan Rodgers makes one change to the Reds side that drew 2-2 at Manchester City last weekend as Jonjo Shelvey comes in for the injured Daniel Sturridge (thigh).
