Key seven on international duty

And trio of Academy stars set to represent England and Ireland

ALBION have seven senior players away on midweek international friendly duty ahead of next Monday’s Barclays Premier League trip to Liverpool (ko 8pm).

James Morrison has reported for Scotland to prepare for Gordan Strachan’s first game in charge against Estonia at Aberdeen's Pettodrie stadium on Wednesday.

On the same night Chris Brunt and Gareth McAuley are set for action with Northern Ireland as they take on Malta Ta’Qali.

Shane Long is away with the Republic of Ireland for their clash with Poland in Dublin.

Romelu Lukaku has joined up with Belgium for their encounter with Slovakia in Bruges.

Jonas Olsson is with Sweden as they gear up for a mouthwatering clash with Argentina in Solna.

And Boaz Myhill has reported for Wales for their clash with Austria at Swansea’s Liberty Stadium.

Meanwhile, a trio of Albion’s Academy players are also set for international action.

Bradley Garmston has been called up by the Republic of Ireland Under-19s for their friendlies against the Czech Republic.

The Irish will face the Czechs in Longford on Tuesday, February 5, and again in Athlone on Thursday, February 7, as they build up their preparations for the UEFA Championships elite qualifying round in June.

Callum Jones has been included in England Under-17s’ 20-man squad for this month’s Algarve Tournament.

The Young Lions will face games against hosts Portugal, Germany and the Netherlands between Friday, February 8 and Tuesday 12.

Isaiah Brown is part of the England Under-16s squad that will travel to Cologne to take on Germany on Wednesday week.
