Olsson: We will turn it around

Defender looks forward to Hull clash

JONAS Olsson insists his Albion team-mates still have the ‘quality and belief’ to turn their disappointing recent run of form around after their latest kick in the teeth.

The Baggies fell to a fourth successive Barclays Premier League defeat at Cardiff earlier today.

And Olsson hopes Steve Clarke’s side can return to winning ways when they host Hull City on Saturday (ko 3pm).

“The next two games are very important for us," said the Sweden international.

“There are six points up for grabs and we need to make sure we get back to putting points on the board.

“We need to do it fast.

“We all know how important the next couple of weeks are.

“Hopefully we can start by getting some points against Hull next Saturday.

“We want to go into Christmas feeling good.

“The belief is still there.

“We know that through the season there are going to be some moments like this.

“We just need to focus on playing our football.

“It’s important that we do that and we don’t be too influenced by the table.

“We need to do what we believe in which is to play our football.

“We know we have the quality.

“We have showed that in previous seasons.

“We just need to believe we can turn it around and we do believe that.”
