Full round-up of Albion's loanees
KEMAR Roofe was delighted to net his first-ever professional goal on his home debut as Cheltenham earned a 2-2 draw with Hartlepool at Whaddon Road - but was disappointed it did not count for more.
The 20-year-old winger withdrew at half-time with an ankle injury as the Robins threw away a two-goal lead in League Two.
Roofe said: “The goal is long awaited and I’m really glad to have scored.
“As you saw from my celebration I was overjoyed.
“I just thought I’d stay in the box because the ball was out wide and I just got my head on it when it came in.
“The result dampened it a bit because we didn’t get the three points after being 2-0 up at half-time."
Elsewhere, Lee Camp was in goal as Bournemouth lost 2-0 at home to Blues in the Sky Bet Championship.
George Thorne played all 90 minutes of Watford’s 1-0 defeat by Sheffield Wednesday at Vicarage Road.
And Cameron Gayle did not miss any of Shrewsbury’s 1-0 home loss to Walsall in League One.
