Willie Johnston dinner and AGM details
MAIN BRANCHThe AGM to be held in the Hawthorns’ East Stand on Thursday, September 12, at 7.30pm. Election of officials will be the main item on the agenda. Old and new members welcome. Meetings with former players and special guests, plus the odd book signing will continue along with discounts for members at special events. Membership renewal forms have been dispatched. WILLIE JOHNSTON DINNER
Jim Cadman and the Former Players’ Association are organising a tribute dinner for Willie Johnston which will be held in the Hawthorns’ East Stand on Thursday, December 12. Willie will be there along with some special guests of the Tartan persuasion! The cost for the dinner is £50 per person , with a reduction for tables of ten. Supporters’ club members will be given a ten per cent discount. All profits raised from the evening will be donated to the Three Degrees statue. The first meeting is on Thursday, September 19, at the Royal Hotel, High Street, Sutton Coldfield, B72 1UD. The special guest is BBC Radio WM’s Daz Hale. Doors open at 7.30pm for an 8pm start. Old and new members welcome.
