Club reduce food and drink prices

Concourse catering now in-house

ALBION fans can look forward to savings on matchday food and beverages during the forthcoming season – as the club brings concourse catering in-house.

The Baggies have made the move in an effort to provide supporters with better value for money at Hawthorns matches.

A pint of Carlsberg will be 30p cheaper than last season while a bottle of Pepsi has been reduced by 20p – despite increasing from 500ml to 600ml.

Supporters will benefit from a 30p saving on all hot drinks while Pennine bottled water has been slashed from £2.20 to £1.50 – more than 30 per cent cheaper.

“Visitors to The Hawthorns will see the same top brand names they are accustomed to – but at a lower price,” said chief executive Mark Jenkins.

“It is hoped reducing in-stadia food costs, in conjunction with a freeze on seasonal and matchday ticket prices, will ensure visits to The Hawthorns are as cost-effective as possible for everyday fans.”

These prices will be in operation throughout the 2013/14 campaign - beginning with tomorrow's final pre-season friendly against Bologna (ko 3pm).
