Clarke makes three changes to starting XI

STEVE Clarke has made three changes to the side that drew 1-1 with Newcastle at The Hawthorns last Saturday.

Steven Reid returns in place of last weekend’s goalscorer Billy Jones at right-back.

Jones has recovered from a gashed leg in time to be named as a substitute for the St Mary’s clash.

Goran Popov, who picked up a knock during training yesterday, makes way for Liam Ridgewell at left-back.

Shane Long also starts for Albion as skipper Chris Brunt is ruled out with a knee problem.

Donervorn Daniels features on Clarke’s bench for the first time - with fellow youngster Kemar Roofe making way after sustaining an injury in Sunday’s Under-21s fixture against the Saints.

Mauricio Pochettino has named an unchanged starting XI to the one that fought out a goalless draw with Swansea last weekend, as his side look to extend their six-game unbeaten run.
