LOAN WATCH: Mixed Easter for Baggies

Six on-loan Albion players in action

ON-LOAN Albion players experienced mixed emotions over a busy Easter Bank Holiday weekend.

Craig Dawson played all of Bolton’s 3-2 defeat at Charlton in the Championship on Saturday and yesterday’s 1-0 victory over Huddersfield Town at the Reebok Stadium.

Gonzalo Jara Reyes was substituted in the 68th minute of Nottingham Forest’s 2-2 draw at Brighton on Saturday – before playing the entirety of their 1-1 stalemate with Burnley at the City Ground on Monday.

James Hurst did not miss a minute of Shrewsbury’s 2-2 draw at Carlisle on Friday or their 3-0 triumph over Crawley at the Greenhous Meadow on Monday.

Bradley Garmston left the field after 64 minutes of Colchester’s 1-0 loss at Bournemouth on Friday – but was withdrawn on 85 as the U’s drew 1-1 at home to Oldham on Monday.

Romaine Sawyers featured as a late substitute in Walsall’s goalless tie at Yeovil on Friday and their 4-0 thrashing of Coventry on Monday.

And Yassine El Ghanassy was on target as Heerenveen overcame Feyenoord 2-0 in the Dutch Eredivisie.
