Clarke happy with progress being made by midfield duo
STEVE Clarke has revealed Zoltan Gera and George Thorne are both making good progress in their comebacks from serious knee injuries - and remain on course for pre-season returns to action.The midfield duo suffered anterior cruciate ligament damage just 25 days apart of each other in January.
But, after undergoing successful operations, their rehabilitation is going according to plan.
“George got his knee brace off in double-quick time,” said Clarke.
“He’s making great progress - both him and Zoltan Gera.
“They are working hard every day and I’m sure we’ll see both of them back in the squad hopefully, if not at the start of pre-season, during pre-season.”
