Important info for supporters who have opted to 'collect' pre-paid tickets
TICKETS for tonight's Capital One Cup clash with holders Liverpool at The Hawthorns will remain on general sale to HOME FANS ONLY until the 8pm kick-off.
The Baggies have reduced prices for the third-round tie to £15 adults, £10 seniors/under-21s/students and £5 under-17s.
The club are anticipating a sizable 'walk-up' will buy their tickets this evening. Therefore, fans are urged to arrive at the stadium as early as possible to ensure they purchase a ticket well in time for kick-off.
This 'arrive early' message applies even more so to any supporters who will be collecting pre-paid tickets from the East Stand ticket office. The high volume of supporters who have opted to collect tickets are advised to visit the ticket office during the day or, at the latest, well in advance of kick-off.
Seats in the Birmingham Road End, East and West Stands can be purchased in person or by phone.
The East Stand ticket office is open until kick-off but supporters will also be able to buy tickets from cash-only ticket kiosks positioned outside the ground, which will be in operation from 6.30pm.
Fans are urged to visit the cash-only ticket kiosks as their first port of call – because they are likely to receive faster service.
The kiosks sell tickets for specific areas of the stadium. Tonight, the kiosk on the Woodman car park will sell Birmingham Road End AND West Stand seats. The kiosk outside Millennium Corner will sell East Stand seats. Supporters should note that the kiosk at the Smethwick End/West Stand corner will not be in operation.
Under competition rules, Liverpool had to be offered 15 per cent of the stadium's capacity, which they requested, and, due to segregation and safety issues, their fans have been granted the entire Smethwick End.
The away end is sold out so no tickets will be on sale to Liverpool fans at tonight’s game.
