Albion v QPR - team news

Odemwingie straight back in as Clarke makes two changes

PETER Odemwingie is handed an immediate recall to the Albion starting XI after serving a three-match ban.

The Nigeria forward replaces the injured Chris Brunt (hamstring) in midfield as one of two enforced changes to the Baggies side that drew 1-1 at Villa on Sunday.

Gabriel Tamas is handed his first Barclays Premier League start of the season as he comes in for the sidelined Billy Jones (knee) at right-back.

Liam Ridgewell has failed to win his fitness race with the calf problem that kept him out at Villa Park, meaning summer signing Goran Popov makes his debut at The Hawthorns.

Clarke is also without Steven Reid (hamstring), Boaz Myhill (thumb) and Jerome Thomas, who is still recovering from injury.

Mark Hughes makes three changes to the Rangers side that lost 2-1 at home to West Ham on Monday.

Jose Bosingwa, Anton Ferdinand and Adel Taarabt come in for benched trio Djibril Cisse, Alejandro Faurlin and Nedum Onuoha.
