Albion have never lost to Fulham at The Hawthorns in the Barclays Premier League. The Baggies last lost to the Cottagers on home soil in a 3-1 Division One defeat on Saturday, December 9, 2000. The Lilywhites have not won at Albion in the top flight since August 1960. 

Cottagers boss Martin Jol played for Albion between 1982 and 1984, making 67 appearances.

Fulham have won only one away fixture this season - a 2-1 victory at Wigan in September.

Albion have not won any of their last six fixtures played on January 1. A Danny Dichio brace, in addition to goals from Andy Johnson and Jason Roberts, earned the Baggies a 4-0 triumph over Stockport in their last New Year’s Day triumph in 2002.

Mike Dean will referee Tuesday's game. The Wirral official last oversaw the Baggies in their 4-2 victory at Sunderland in November. He has dished out 74 yellow and two red cards in 19 games this term.
