Head coach discusses Foster, Myhill, Jones and El Ghanassy
STEVE Clarke has given a positive injury update on Ben Foster after revealing Boaz Myhill has battled his way through Albion’s last two games with a sickness virus.
The 30-year-old keeper has offered cover for Foster, who is rehabilitating following an operation on his groin last month, in the Baggies’ last five matches.
Yassine El Ghanassy and Billy Jones have also been suffering with the illness which nearly ruled Myhill out of last Wednesday’s trip to Swansea.
“Ben is improving which is good news for us and we will see how he gets on," said Clarke.
“Yassine is sick. We've had a sickness virus and Boaz Myhill was sick last week.
“He didn't travel with us to Swansea - he actually came down on the day of the game.
“Billy Jones was also sick overnight on Friday - he wasn't even in the stadium on Friday - and Yassine is now unwell.”
