Baggies' injury problems mount

But Foster returns to training and is hopeful for West Ham game

STEVE Clarke has revealed his injury problems are mounting ahead of Sunday’s game with West Ham (ko 4pm).

Ben Foster (groin) returned to the training pitch today and the Hawthorns boss is hopeful the former Manchester United goalkeeper will be available for selection against the Hammers.

Claudio Yacob (hamstring) and Liam Ridgewell (ankle) remain doubts and Clarke has three other players, whose names he chose to keep under wraps, struggling with knocks and niggles.

The Albion chief said: “We have a number of injury doubts this weekend and it’s a test of our squad strength.

“A lot of them are knocks and niggles that have not cleared up.”
