Lawrence's team in action at Halesowen Town FC's The Grove on Sunday (ko 1pm)
SPORTING Club Albion Ladies host Solihull Borough in the Birmingham County Cup at Halesowen’s Town FC’s The Grove tomorrow (ko 1pm) with a place in the quarter-finals awaiting the winner.Manager Dave Lawrence said: “Reaching the quarter-finals is vital, we have a good chance to win as long as we avoid complacency and play the entertaining football we are capable of.”
After Sunday’s game, Lawrence’s side will take a short winter break, giving him chance to reflect on his side’s first half of the season and see where improvements can be made going into 2013.
He added: “We have done okay, we dropped points we shouldn't have and we’ve been defensively unstable at times, but everyone must take a share of blame for that, me included.
“I know we have the quality to become a more efficient side in the New Year.”
