FA Cup third-round tie to be played on the weekend of January 5 & 6

ALBION have been drawn away to fellow Barclays Premier League outfit Queens Park Rangers in the FA Cup third round.

The tie will be played on the weekend of January 5 & 6.

It will be the second meeting between the two sides at Loftus Road in the space of a fortnight, with the Baggies also heading to London in the league on Boxing Day (ko 3pm).

Goals from James Morrison, Zoltan Gera and Youssouf Mulumbu saw Albion beat The R’s 3-2 in October's top-flight clash.

The two teams have met twice in the FA Cup previously with the Baggies beating QPR 3-2 in their last meeting in the cup on New Year’s Day 1983.
