Dorrans could be back for Spurs trip

And boss gives squad clean bill of health

STEVE Clarke has revealed Graham Dorrans could be available for selection against Tottenham on Saturday (ko 3pm).

And the Baggies boss has given the rest of his squad a clean bill of health ahead of the White Hart Lane encounter.

Dorrans missed Saturday’s 3-0 victory over Liverpool after his daughter Ava fell seriously ill two weeks ago.

“I’m hopeful Graham will be available,” said Clarke.

“He’s waiting on some more news from the doctors today.

“If that’s positive than there is a possibility he could be involved.

“If not, then he’ll be involved next week.

“Injury-wise we have one or two little niggles but I would expect to have a full squad to pick from.”

With the transfer window set to close in just over a week, Clarke believes he is just a defender short of having the ideal squad for the first half of the campaign.

“I’ve said before I’m happy with the squad I’ve got,” he added.

“I’ve got great options in midfield and up front, and if we can get one more defender in I think that would make us a really solid squad for the first half of the season.”
