Here at West Bromwich Albion Football Club we have an exciting opportunity to join our Women's First Team as a Goalkeeper Coach on a fixed term contract.
The main purpose of this role is being responsible for leading, delivering and developing the Goalkeepers within Women’s First Team. It will be a part time position which may include evenings, weekends and bank holidays as required and in line with business needs. The Goalkeeper Coach will carry out all duties required to fulfil the role to the best of their ability, always having regard for the best outcome for the team.
The duties will include:
• Assist the Head Coach in the delivery of coaching sessions to the First Team following the WBA Women’s philosophy.
• Assist the Head Coach in the planning and preparation of any training sessions and matches as appropriate and to support the decisions of the Head Coach.
• Assist the Head coach in preparing and sending out set plays to players.
• Attend all First Team training sessions and matches.
• If requested, prepare detailed reports/analysis for the Head Coach in relation to the GK performance.
• To attend regular meetings and work within a team and as part of an MDT staffing team.
