The Foundation's Player Development Academies are designed to progress players and identify young talent that have the potential to reach West Bromwich Albion's Talent ID programme or Academy.
Our PDA’s are invite only sessions, and you are NOT able to just sign up or come along. These sessions specifically mirror the WBA FC Academy Foundation Phase (Under 8-10’s) following the same topics, structure and core unopposed sessions.
We are looking for players (GK’s included) that are going to be at Under 8, 9 or 10 next season (September start).
Player Development Academies include:
- 2 Hour Weekly Sessions
- Technical and Tactical coaching working in line with our WBA Academy Curriculum
- Regular fixture programme against other FC’s such as Cardiff, Derby, Shrewsbury.
- Regular opportunities to play against other WBA groups such as Pre academy and Talent ID
- Coached by FA and UEFA qualified coaches.
- Able to continue to play for Grassroots Football team whilst training with us.
- 3 PDA’s that we are recruiting for: Black Country, South Birmingham, Staffordshire.
- We are looking for players (GK’s included) that are going to be at Under 8, 9 or 10 next season (September start).
- Two dates to choose from for your most local PDA.
