Remar is building his exciting, early reputation in Albion's academy system.

Dudley-born (Russell's Hall Hospital) McNeil, grew up in Cradley Heath and first got a taste for competitive football at local team, P.S Olympic.

The wide attacker, who is able to play on either flank and behind the striker, was clearly showing early promise as, despite being six-years-old, Remar was invited to an eight-week trial with Aston Villa.

It wasn't to be, sadly, but unsurprisingly, there were plenty of options for the youngster to pursue - which is where his Baggies journey began.

The move came via McNeil's spell with West Brom All Stars, with his performances for the affiliate club earning him a trial at the Albion which, unsurprisingly, was a success and led to him penning terms with the club aged seven.

Remar honed his skills on the pitch up until scholarship level, where he signed a two-year deal and escalated his development further in both the Under-18 and 21s.

The attacker was no stranger to 18s football having made a handful of appearances as an U16 player during the 24/25 campaign, but the proceeding season saw McNeil show his direct, front-footed approach to matches and leave his stamp on them.

Plenty of goals and assists for the 18s resulted in a deserved call-up to the PL2 team under Leigh Downing, where Remar seized his opportunity with both hands - making his debut in a Birmingham Senior Cup game against Coventry United in November 2025 before really showing his talent in Premier League youth competitions for the 21s.

His first appearance came in a PL Cup group match against Brentford in December 2025, but his first major contributions at a higher age group came in the PL Cup format - where McNeil bagged his first 21s goal in a Round of 16 clash against QPR, and it proved to be a decisive one which secure a 1-0 win against Rangers to help the young Baggies reach the quarter-finals.

Confidence was clearly built from this as just four days later, Remar bagged a brace of assists in a 4-3 defeat to Liverpool and remained with the PL2 group for the closing stages of the 25/26 season.

Hope will no doubt fuel the attacker's drive to contribute more for the 21s and 18s in the coming years, as McNeil pushes to be the next youth talent who makes a first-team breakthrough.
