Albion join tributes to Queen Elizabeth II ahead of State Funeral

West Bromwich Albion Football Club continues to mourn the passing of Queen Elizabeth II and will join tributes ahead of Her late Majesty’s State Funeral on Monday.

A National Moment of Reflection, marked by a one-minute silence, will take place at 8pm on Sunday, September 18 – providing an opportunity to reflect on The Queen’s life and legacy.

The silence can be marked privately at home, with friends and family, out on doorsteps with neighbours, or at locally arranged community events and vigils.

On Monday at 11.55am, a further two-minute silence will make up part of the State Funeral proceedings.

The Hawthorns will be closed on Monday – which has been declared a Bank Holiday – with flags remaining at half-mast until Tuesday.
