Slaven Bilić believes Albion returned to the standards they had set in the first half of the season during Saturday’s 2-0 win against Luton.
The Baggies recorded their first victory in eight league games with the goals coming either side of the interval at The Hawthorns.
And Bilic is expecting Saturday’s “important” triumph to inject a boost of confidence into his side ahead of the next run of challenging fixtures.
He said: “This has to be a standard in terms of fighting and concentration.
“Three points were very important today for us.
“The basic things we have done really well, they had chances but even then Dara blocked so we defended really well.
“We created a lot but in a different way.
“From a lot of second balls we had more chances to score goals but the most important thing was to win and we totally deserved it.
“This will get the confidence back that we lost a little bit which is absolutely natural.
“We are always working hard but working intelligently and managing the situations in the game even when you are sky high on confidence was important.”
