The life story of Laurie Cunningham will be retold on a stage near you during Black History Month UK 2019.
Kick it Out has commissioned the new play which comes 40 years after the legendary winger’s move from Albion to Real Madrid.
‘Getting The Third Degree’, by award-winning playwright Dougie Blaxland, will begin a nationwide tour on Tuesday, October 22, and will appear at The Mac Theatre in Birmingham on Friday, November 1. Tickets for its Birmingham showing are available here.
