Girls Post 16 trials March 19

Trials to be a part of our Girls Post 16 programme in partnership with Sandwell College are now available.

Committed and experienced female footballers aged between 16-18 have the opportunity to represent West Bromwich Albion and gain nationally recognised qualifications through an extensive football and education programme.

Students will access training twice a week with weekly fixtures built into their education timetable.

The programme is linked to West Bromwich Albion Women with a proven pathway of promoting girls through their teams.

The course combines an academic qualification with football development, involving study for a BTEC Level 3 in Sport as well as weekly football training and representing West Bromwich Albion in the British Colleges League.

The football element is run by The Albion Foundation, and is delivered by UEFA B Licence coaches who have direct links to Albion's academy and scouts.

You will participate in an average of three coaching sessions a week and one fixture per week, and two hours of industry work experience.

Training kit will need to be purchased through The Albion Foundation, to be worn during all college activities.

Match kit will be provided for fixtures in the British Colleges League.

There are also potential opportunities to trial with the WBA Women team depending on your playing ability.

Attendance to both trial dates are compulsory.
