Futures in football for females are being provided through the Sandwell College WBA Foundation U19 Female Football Education and Coaching Programme.

Competitive fixtures, coaching qualifications and opportunities for work experience are all a part of the scheme currently in its first year.

With enrolment now open for the 2019/20 academic year, your opportunity to join the couse is here.

"If you have got a passion for football and a passion for coaching, this is the course for you," said Scott Thomas, Head of Sport at Sandwell College.

The Albion Foundation has its own girls football programme and was passionate to be a part of the project.

"We saw this as a really good opportunity to connect with the females in and around the local area, just to give them an opportunity to not only take part in a sport that they love but to also gain qualifications," explained Dave Lawrence, the Foundation's Head of Sport.

Fun, safe and engaging sessions has seen participants enhance their football skills after a matter of months.

"I have gained more confidence and explored new skills," said Ella Lord.
