Trio back in training to boost Baggies

Albion have received a triple injury boost ahead of Friday night's trip to Leeds United.

Jacob Murphy and Hal Robson-Kanu both missed last weekend's 1-0 Sky Bet Championship defeat against Sheffield United, while Ahmed Hegazi hobbled off shortly after the hour mark.

But head coach Moore has offered a positive update on the the trio's availability ahead of the club's trip to Elland Road (ko 7.45pm).

"We’re pleased to have Ahmed back in training," he said.

"He was back in training yesterday (Wednesday) and did some work. Looking at all the signs yesterday, he looked well, he looked fine.

"We’ll train again today (Thursday) to see if he’s had any reactions at all.

"Yesterday it was wonderful to see him out there.

"And good to see Hal back as well. It’s nice to add them back into the squad when you see them back on the training pitch. Jacob had a run out yesterday as well."

The Baggies boss continued: "We’ll assess all three players because, obviously, they’ve all come back. You want them to have a training session but then you don't want them to have any reactions.

"Yesterday all seemed well. We’ll train again today and see if the players haven't had a response."
