Rampant Baggies remain top after hitting 18 in goal-fest

ALBION produced a scintillating display to register an emphatic 18-1 victory at Steel City Wanderers in the FA Women’s National League Division One Midlands on Sunday.

Harriet James hit four for the Baggies while Laura Davies and Reia Henry both notched hat-tricks as Albion maintained their position at the top of the table.

Abby Bevan bagged a brace while Lauren Price was also on the scoresheet, bagging their maiden Albion goals.

Another double from Natalie Murray added to efforts from Gabbie Reid, Hannah George and an own goal from Sarah Middleton as the Baggies completed the away rout.

Albion take a break from league matters when they visit Rugby Town Ladies in the SSE Women’s FA Cup Second Round qualifying on Sunday (ko 2pm).
