Welcome to Diversity Day

ALBION will host its inaugural Diversity Day this afternoon - and here is everything you need to know ahead of your trip to The Hawthorns.

Diversity Day is a celebration of the Club’s equality and togetherness and sets out to establish the Baggies as leaders at the forefront of change through football.

You will need to be at your seat by 2.40pm to show your appreciation to Cyrille Regis, Brendon Batson and representatives of the late Laurie Cunningham’s family as they take on the honour of Fans’ Champions by delivering the match ball to the Premier League plinth.

Before that there is plenty to keep you entertained in the Fanzone, sponsored by Carling, with a host of activities, international cuisine and music from 12noon.

Fans can support Jonas Olsson’s charity work in India by purchasing kit from previous seasons at bargain basement prices in the WBA FC Community Sports Hall - adjacent to the Club’s Academy building - on Halfords Lane from 12noon on Saturday.

Our official matchday programme, Albion News, has eight pages dedicated to Diversity Day, featuring the Albion Foundation, WBA Women, Apna Albion, Proud Baggies, plus a ‘Three Degrees’ tribute from Tony Brown.

We will have plenty of special guests at The Hawthorns, including representatives of Proud Baggies, the recently launched the Club’s official LGBT+ supporters’ club, and  Soho Albion, our ground-breaking youth football club.

Document your day at The Hawthorns using the hashtag #TogetherWeAreAlbion on social media. We will share our favourites.
