Inspirational youngster given match ball honour
INSPIRATIONAL youngster Dylen Rose will be our latest Fans' Champion for the clash with Crystal Palace on Saturday (ko 3pm).
Just over 12 months ago Dylen was out shopping with his Mom, Sally, and saw a friend in town. Dylen noticed that his friend suddenly had no hair and asked his Mum what was wrong with him. His Mum explained that he was really poorly and needed special medicine, which makes his hair fall out.
Dylen immediately said, “I want to grow my hair and give it to poorly children”.
From then on, the eight-year-old, from Wednesbury, has grown his hair in support of the Little Princess Trust which makes wigs for children who suffer hair loss when they undergo treatment for cancer.
In total, Dylen has donated fifteen plaits, all between 8-9 inches in length which will be sent off to be made into a wig for children who are having cancer treatment. He has also been collecting donations and sponsor money and has surpassed £700 in money raised, all of which is going to the Make A Wish Foundation.
Albion will be absolutely delighted to see Dylen at The Hawthorns to deliver the match ball to the Premier League plinth ahead of kick-off.
