Slavia Prague pre-season friendly announcement

ALBION will face Czech Republic champions SK Slavia Prague in their first summer pre-season friendly in Austria.

The Baggies travel to the Austrian Alps on Tuesday, July 4 to start their now familiar pre-season programme under head coach Tony Pulis.
 
And they will wrap up a physically demanding week of fitness training on the continent with a friendly against Slavia Prague on Wednesday, July 12 (ko 5pm local time) in Kumberg.
 
Slavia won the Czech league title in 2016/17 ahead of rivals Viktoria Plzen and Sparta Prague, duly making it into this season's Champions League third qualifying round.
 
Albion face Slavia before swiftly heading off to Hong Kong to take part in the Premier League Asia Trophy.
 
The Baggies taken on Leicester City in their opening fixture in the Far East before then coming up against either Liverpool or Crystal Palace in the four-team tournament.
 
Pulis' men travel to Spain for their final pre-season friendly against La Liga side Deportivo La Coruna, a week before the 2017/18 Premier League campaign gets underway.
